This assessment is for infrastructure leaders, cloud architects, security teams, application owners, and business continuity stakeholders who need evidence that critical services can be restored after ransomware, accidental deletion, regional failure, or platform outage. It is especially useful after rapid Azure growth, workload migration, policy drift, an audit finding, or an untested recovery plan.
We review the Azure and hybrid capabilities that support recoverability: Azure Business Continuity Center, Azure Backup, Backup vaults and Recovery Services vaults, Azure Site Recovery, policy and retention design, immutability and soft delete, multi-user authorization, private connectivity, encryption, role assignments, replication health, recovery plans, monitoring, alerts, regional resiliency, and approved third-party or native workload protection.
You receive a Backup and DR Recoverability Report, workload protection matrix, RPO/RTO alignment table, vault and policy findings, recovery dependency map, test evidence summary, prioritized remediation backlog, and a 90-day resilience roadmap. Sample findings may include unprotected workloads, retention that misses compliance needs, broad vault permissions, missing immutability or multi-user authorization, replication health issues, recovery plans without application dependencies, and restores that have never been tested.

We trace selected critical workloads from business impact and dependencies through backup, replication, restore, failover, validation, and operational handoff. The review tests practical recoverability, not merely whether a backup job reports success.

Review protection coverage

We review protected workloads, unprotected resources, backup policies, retention settings, vault design, access control, monitoring, alerts, and backup health across Azure and hybrid systems.
Coverage review

Validate RPO and RTO alignment

We compare current backup and replication settings with business recovery requirements. This helps identify where backup frequency, replication design, retention, or recovery process does not match the required RPO and RTO.
Recovery targets

Assess recovery operations

We review restore procedures, failover readiness, recovery order, role ownership, permissions, documentation, and test history. This helps confirm whether recovery can be executed under pressure.
